Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh or frozen pineapple chunks : Adds tangy sweetness and island vibes.
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen mango slices : Brings creamy texture and a burst of sunshine.
  • 1 medium banana : Provides natural sweetness and velvety consistency.
  • 1 cup coconut milk : Offers a rich tropical base while being dairy-free and refreshing.
  • 2 tablespoons Greek yogurt or plant-based alternative : Adds creaminess and a hint of protein.
  • 1 tablespoon honey or agave syrup optional : Your secret weapon for extra sweetness.
  • 1 cup ice cubes : Ensures a perfectly chilled frosty finish.

Instructions

Prep Your Ingredients :

  • If you’re using fresh fruit, peel and chop them into smaller pieces to make blending easier. Measure out all your ingredients beforehand so everything is within arm’s reach.

Layer for Optimal Blending :

  • Start by adding the liquid base—pour the coconut milk into the blender first. This helps the blades move smoothly and prevents sticking. Next, add the pineapple chunks, mango slices, banana, Greek yogurt, and optional sweetener. Top it off with a handful of ice cubes.

Blend Until Smooth :

  • Secure the lid on your blender and start blending on low speed, gradually increasing to high. Blend for about 30-45 seconds or until the mixture is velvety smooth and free of lumps. If the smoothie seems too thick, add a splash more coconut milk (or water) and blend again.

Taste and Adjust :

  • Give your smoothie a quick taste test. If you’d like it sweeter, blend in a bit more honey or agave. For an extra frosty texture, toss in a few more ice cubes and blend briefly.
